King Diamond Partner with Booking Agents
If you follow me on Twitter, I announced that I was going to stand in solidarity with the other websites going black to stand against Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). However, like a true nerd, all the cool kids told me it was happening today. So I got ready to publish a big post about it and realized it was just me standing on the front lines with my dick out. Looks like I am going to have to do work today, but WEDNESDAY WE RIDE!
King Diamond has signed a deal with booking agents Nick Storch at ICM and Paul Ryan at The Agency Group. Storch will be in charge of booking King Diamond concerts in North and South America, and Paul Ryan will handle King Diamond dates in Europe and the rest of the world.
What could that mean? Oh yea, a world tour! It will be great to finally get a taste of the almighty Diamond live. His latest album, Give Me Your Soul...Please, (he didn't use to be that polite) is a wonderfully done metal album, if you like King Diamond. Check out the Grammy nominated Best Metal Song Never Ending Hill.
