Van Halen News is Like Christmas Morning

We will have a lot Van Halen news coming next Tuesday, but here is what we know so far. I am calling this the Hanukkah of Van Halen, with five crazy days.

Day one of Hanukkah Van Halen is January 3, 2012. It begins with a press conference where the band and promoters will lay out all the tour plans including dates, times, etc. Day two of Hanukkah Van Halen is on January 10 when the tickets will go on sale to the public. You will want to get them when you can because they will go FAST. I am talking faster than a virgin rubbing his dick on a corduroy couch fast...not that I know anything about that or anything.

Day two of Hanukkah Van Halen is a special day, because the band will also release a single and a video. This will mark the first new music we have heard from Roth + Van Halen in 28 years!

Day three of Hanukkah Van Halen will arrive on February 7th, when the, as yet untitled album, hits shelves.

Day four of Hanukkah Van Halen is purely speculation on my part, but I believe the band will play on "music's biggest night" at the Grammy's on February 12. This makes a lot of sense since the band will have released their album a week before and there is no bigger stage for the band than the Grammy awards. The Grammy's were touting a performance of Van Halen at the nomination show back in the fall, but the band wasn't ready.

Van Halen has been playing at The Roxy in West Hollywood for about two months and is ready to kick our ass once again. If you have time, you can read my review of the shows back in 2007-2008 here and here.

The final night of Hanukkah Van Halen will be show night for you. I don't know exactly when that will be just yet, but my contacts at the Wachovia Center say look for an April date. I will kids, I will!
