Volbeat Share Guitarist with Mercyful Fate
Well sort of; it's more of Hank Shermann of Mercyful Fate has decided to join the band on all their Gigantour dates.
"It's a true honor getting to work with Hank, whose guitar work has inspired all three bandmembers long before Volbeat was formed," says Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen. "I'm very thankful that Hank has the time to join us on Gigantour in his busy schedule."
I am pretty excited for the Gigantour next year featuring Megadeth, Lacuna Coil, Motorhead, and Volbeat. It's a solid night of good rock n' roll. I found Volbeat earlier in the year and liked the sound and fury they brought to the sonic radiowaves, even though Michael Poulsen has a "OOH YEAH" James Hetfield syndrome. In honor of Michael's penchant for ripping Hetfield, here is a Fuel Meme.
