Metallica Joined On Stage with Dave Mustaine, Jason Newstead and Ozzy Osbourne

It has been a dead time of year because everyone takes off for the holidays and even lowly publicists take a few weeks off from their hard working job of forwarding email to my SPAM directory.

Metallica has been having a week long celebration in San Francisco to celebrate their 30th anniversary and it was as spectacular as Marilyn Monroe's breasts. Too dated a reference? Bree Olsen's breasts.

Metallica was joined on stage by Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler for Sabbra Cadabra, Iron Man, and Paranoid. Metallica was also joined by former Metallica members Jason Newstead, Hugh Tanner, Lloyd Grant, Ron McCovney, and yes, Dave Mustaine. Oh and some stupid lame producer named Bob Rock, but no one cares.

Yes, Dave Mustaine performed five songs with the band and, god to be a cock on that stage when that happened. Thankfully, Metallica has a brilliant video capturing team and posts shit frequently. Here is their YouTube page for a lot more videos of the show (I am sure a DVD will appear), but here are the ones I loved.
