Anthrax Plans 2012 Tour
Scott Ian announced via Twitter that the United States was going to see an Anthrax tour starting on the third week of January. Details and dates have not been announced yet, but they have been kicking asses all across the world since releasing Worship Music and reuniting with Joey Belladonna. It seems the band has not only witnessed a resurgence in it's music, but Belladonna has breathed new life into the band.
The band just finished a tour with Testament and Death Angel, which was critically acclaimed and I am pissed I missed it. But the news that Anthrax is touring again shortly raises my hopes that I will get to see them. I am sure those hopes and dreams will be crushed when the dates are announced and it will bring back painful memories of sitting in the rectory being sprinkled with "Holy Cum" by a priest. Anthrax, don't flush my hopes and dreams!

Here is a sample of Worship Music.

The Antrhax concert at the Electric Factory was amazing. First time I have ever seen them live. I was never a "Huge" fan until Worship music came out. Now, They are one of my favorites. If theycome back to Philly I will be seeing them again.

I have seen them 3 times and each time was better than the last. 1st time was 1987, 2nd was 1990 on the Clash O' The Titans Tour w/Slayer/Megadeth/Alice In Chains(how AIC got that gig I have no clue, but they were good), 3rd was in 2006 when Joey got back with them for the 20th anniversary of Amoung The Living. I missed the EF show on Nov 10th and was damn sorry I did.Anthrax is a kick ass live band and I will be there the next time they are around.
