Courtney Love Insults Foo Fighters, Kurt Cobain, and Your Mother
Courtney Love and her band Hole performed at Brazil's SWU Festival on Sunday. In this performance, she fit in insulting Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters, Kurt Cobain, and went topless. The Aristocrats.
A fan brought a picture of Kurt Cobain to the concert and held it up. Why they did this I have no idea, but it pissed Courtney off.
“I don’t need to see a picture of Kurt, asshole, and I’m going to have you fucking removed if you keep holding that up. I’m not Kurt, I have to live with his fucking shit and his ghost and his kid every day. Throwing that up is stupid and rude and I’m going to beat the fuck out of you if you do it again."
It was at this point Love said "Great, we’ll leave now. Fuck you!" She only reemerged when the crowd listlessly chanted "The Foo Fighers are Gay." How childish is that? I haven't called someone gay as insult since kindergarten. Actually I was the one usually being called gay, but that was because I was 4'11 when I graduated high school and was Sanduskied by priests.
Love came back on stage and said "I don’t care what you listen to at home, but if a guy takes money off my kid’s table, fuck him.” You mean the kid you said you were living with every day in the same sentence you were bitching about Kurt's ghost? Whatever I am disqualifying her from the Mom of the Year award for her double-speak.
As for her performing topless, I feel The Venture Brothers covered that for me.
