Black Sabbath Reunite Plan Tour and Album

::Crypt Keeper staring at himself in a mirror:: Mirror Mirror on the wall, whose the fearest of them all? ::mirror cracks:: Looks like I just bought seven years of bad luck. Hello boils and ghouls, it's your old pal the Crypt Keeper here to tell you another fascinating tale about vanity and refusal to hang it up and die gracefully. I call this episode Black Sabbath.

Black Sabbath's orginial line up has reunited for their first album in 33 years and a full 2012 tour. The new album will be produced by Rick Rubin, who previously worked with System of a Down and Metallica. That's the gist of the announcement. No word on album title or release date.

I think if the band is creatively ready to record an album they should go for it because their talent still remains. But Ozzy's last album had his vocals thrown through a Vitamix. The sounded way over dubbed and I question his ability to sing at this point. I don't want a dark, menacing album with the vocals of a guy singing through the back of a fan. It just wouldn't be Black Sabbath. I would also love to see Rick Rubin add Dio to the album. In fact, Rick should just the new album vocals together with old outtakes from Dio. That would be sweet. Now I am off to watch more Tales From the Crypt.
