Time for Some U2 News
In honor of my black 80 GB iPod being stolen and having to resort to my 20 GB U2 iPod, let's get some U2 news.
U2 recently posted 3 clips from their forthcoming "From the Sky Down" documentary about the making of their 1991 album Achtung Baby. The first clip features a story about Larry Mullen being harassed by an East German police officer, after his car had broken down on the road. The second clip features bassist Adam Clayton talks about the beginnings of the band and their lives after school. The third clip features rare uncut 16mm footage of the band around the time of the Achtung Baby sessions. "From the Sky Down" was directed by Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim (Waiting for Superman, An Inconvenient Truth). Stay tuned for the revealing of additional clips from the documentary on www.u2.com.
Let's take a look at the three clips that have been released "From the Sky Down" documentary. The freeze capture of clip one is not a hipster Tom Cruise trying to be Bono.
