Morre Contrast Review
It seems whenever Morre asks me to review their stuff, it takes me a month to get around to it. I'd apologize, but since it has happened before and probably will happen again. I reviewed the band's previous effort ...Out There and called them the Led Zeppelin Pinot Noir and that is the best description I can write about this band.Morre is a refined, sophisticated band that shouldn't be taken lightly. They are best listened to with a great micro brew, a good cigar, and a hot woman between your legs licking your peepee. If you can't find a hot woman to suck you, I'd recommend a hot guy who kind of looks like a girl. May I recommend the lead singer of NYC based band Semi-Precious Weapons? He won't do it, but you could find someone on Craigslist like that. A good blowjob is essential for listening to this record.
Lady of Lust is a ear delight, with it's haunting whispy backing siren soar that pervades the song while Adrian Tonceanu's falsettos add a deep layer of complexity. The island like guitar cords that open the song set the stage for the rest of this swimming ballad about a woman who has taken the mind of the songwriter. The song is well crafted from the catchy chorus to the strong bridge, it's amazing. I can already see this song being played in the movie of my life. Slow motion shots of cum slapping me in the face full of tears with the a bunch of older men in the bath house maniacally laughing showing the things I go through to keep this site afloat.
Stray Dog is a shuffling tune with a fresh Zeppelin/Stones feel. The harmonies on this track are stellar and the rhythm section is Tyler Koch and Tim Young are well rehersed and solid musicians slapping together a memorable bass/drum line that even Nick Cannon of Drumline would be proud of.
Morre's Contrast is fantastic and I want more people to know about them so they can appreciate that solid musicians are out there creating wonderful music. Morre is able to effortlessly pull varied influences and paint them on a solid rock palette. I can't recommend this band highly enough. Please go to Morre's main site to buy Contrast and I also recommend ...Out There. (read my review here).
