Stone Roses Reunite, Plan World Tour
The Stone Roses, an English alternative band who I loved, are back after 15 years. The band confirmed long held rumors that they were reuniting today at a London Soho hotel. The original lineup, frontman Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Mani and drummer Pedi Reni will do two two shows in England at Heaton Park on June 29-30 in 2012 before embarking on an extensive world tour. I will be at any American show in Philly - that is how dedicated I am to this reunion.
NME has a great write up on the band's history and a video of the press conference. Nothing has been released about the 2012 world tour yet, but those London dates are sure to sell out in minutes.
I had trouble deciding which song to choose from the band, because I have loved every song they did. But their first single that introduced the band to the world is a great song, so here's I Wanna Be Adored
