Soundwave Festival Takes You Back to 2001

The Soundwave festival was just announced with tickets going on sale on October 20th. The Soundwave festival is one of Australia's biggest festivals and it takes place in Feburary, you know because it's summer down there. The acts announced this year will take you back to the early Naughts, circa 2001-2003. Your headliners are Slipknot and System of a Down. Followed by:

Unwritten Law
Thursday
Lostprophets
Limp Bizkit
Marilyn Manson
Hole (HOLE FOR CHRIST'S SAKE)
Dashboard Confessional
The Used
Saves the Day

There are other bands and you can go here if you're really interested. But it seems Australia is almost ten years behind the times in terms of music. I suspect that in another ten years you will see festivals headlined by Andrew W.K., Katy Perry and Amy Winehouse. What's that? Amy is dead?

Sorry Australia, you never got a chance to see Amy, but maybe Adele. What's that? Adele is also canceling touring plans because she refuses to take care of her body by smoking constantly and didn't learn how to sing properly? Well then TRAPT is available.
