Dilana Joins Tracii Guns Version of L.A. Guns
Apparently, L.A. Guns are so desperate they decided to add Dilana Robichaux as their lead singer ending the Jizzy Pearl era of L.A. Guns. Dilana originally performed on Rockstar: Supernova and won the lottery by NOT winning that competition.
That stupid reality show to find a lead singer for a band that had no intentions of being a band longer than a few months, was shockingly doomed to start. You had Tommy Lee on drums, Jason Newstead on bass, and Gilby Clarke on guitars...that mismash of styles had no way of being interesting and those guys had no interest in being a band. The winner, if you recall, was Lukas Rossi who moved back to America's hat, Canadia, and is working in a Dollarama! Or he just performed on NBC's The Voice and didn't get any air time.
Remember there are TWO L.A. Guns - the Tracii Guns version and the Phil Lewis L.A. Guns version. It is the Tracii Guns L.A. Guns that hired Dilana Robichaux as their lead singer. Got it?
I think the question everyone is thinking is what the hell is Tracii thinking? Her raspy, deep vocals don't fit the sound of L.A. Guns and would be more suited to a sex line operator. There are two reasons for what we think Tracii is thinking:
I'd toss Tracii a few bucks to see this train wreck, just for the novelty of hearing how Sex Action would sound with Dilana at the helm. It might really invigorate the band's songs and creative juices. An idle Tracii Guns is a sad world I don't want to live in.
Here is what Dilana sounds like doing Nirvana's Lithum and below it is a classic L.A. Guns song.

- He wants to add a lead singer that is unheard by the masses, but also has a solid following. Dilana almost won Rockstar Supernova and showed she can command a stage with big egos and big dicks. If that doesn't get her the L.A. Guns job right away, this might:
- Tracii needs new poon. Who doesn't really? But Dilana has that crazy look in her eyes that you just KNOW she'd be a minx in the bed. And there isn't a better way to bed a woman than let her sing for your band.
