Worst Heavy Metal Bands of All Time
Yahoo Music put together the top worst Heavy Metal Albums of All Time and I agree with the list. Yes, they took the easy way out and went with Metallica's Load, Reload, and St. Anger as Number one, but the rest of the list is solid.
If anyone actually bought and liked KISS' Music From the Elder, you need your head examined. It is the worst album they ever did and that's saying something as they went unmasked. Something in common with the soon to be released LouTallica, Lou Reed cowrote three tracks on Music From the Elder.
Another dubious distinction on this list, Bob Rock was producer on no less than four of the albums mentioned.
The rest of the list is rounded out by Chinese Democracy - Guns N' Roses; Twisted Sister's Come Out and Play; and Motley Crue - Motley Crue. Check out the list here. I would be hard pressed to create a better list.
Here is a Twisted Sister song off Come Out and Play featuring Shakes the Clown.

I saw this list yesterday, most of the bands on this list I don't think would be considered Heavy Metal. I mean c'mon, Def Leppard, Kiss? I like both of those bands but they are not metal, they are hard rock bands. Love your sight, check it everyday, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kind words John and for reading the site. It is nice to have positive readercomments and not ones looking for me to impregnante them for their green card.
I agree with your assessment that they are not necessarily "Heavy Metal," well KISS anyway. Def Leppard was classified as "80's Heavy Metal" for a while.
If I were to make a list, I'd include actual heavy metal acts like Judas Priest's Turbo is a bad Judas Priest album.
