Scott Weiland Ready to Release Christmas Album

In my never ending quest to buy everything Scott Weiland related, I have yet another thing to purchase. No, it's not his underwear, I bought those from the 1995 Purple tour. It is a Christmas album.

Yes, nothing brings in the holidays quite like your favorite artist singing your childhood favorites. For the last couple of years, the Casa de Craig Wettner has been lulled at Christmas time by Twisted Sister's A Twisted Christmas. I put on my red smoking jacket, stuff my pipe full of Erinmore tobacco, and sit in my giant leather chair, while the strippers I paid to wear footie pajamas, gather around nice and close. Then I read them T'was The Night Before I Locked You in the Basement (a Christmas Bondage Carol) and play A Twisted Christmas.

This year will be vastly different. Gone will be the strippers of last year as they are now colorful lampshades. In are new strippers and a calmer, gentler Craig Wettner ready to read T'was the Night Before Christmas while listening to the bassa nova interpretations of Scott Weiland's Christmas album. Aah memories!

The Most Wonderful Time of Year will be out during the time everyone's attention turns to Christmas, October 4th. Here is the tracklisting:

01. The Christmas Song (3:16)
02. I'll Be Home For Christmas (3:05)
03. White Christmas (2:23)
04. Silent Night (3:00)
05. It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year (2:20)
06. What Child Is This? (3:20)
07. Winter Wonderland (2:15)
08. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (2:35)
09. Happy Christmas And Many More (3:16)
10. O Holy Night (4:11)

Weiland has claimed the album will be more "traditional. You know, strings, upright bass, jazz horns, piano, and guitar. He added, "I'm sort of picking various versions of these songs, because they've been covered so many times, but my favorite versions — with a little twist."

Man that is really going to class up the stripper romps and the sex swings.
