Temple of the Dog Reunites at Pearl Jam 20 Show
Over the weekend, Pearl Jam celebrated their 20th anniversary with a big two-day festival show. The lineup featured Pearl Jam closing each night and a bunch of hand picked Pearl Jam artists.
Fans attending Saturday's show at the Alpine Valley Music Theater in Wisconsin got a very special treat...Chris Cornell and a Temple of the Dog reunion. Fuck you, you lucky sons of bitches!
Cornell appeared during the second encore for a set that included Temple of the Dog songs Hunger Strike, Say Hello 2 Heaven and Reach Down, as well as a cover version of the song Stardog Champion from the pre-Pearl Jam band Mother Love Bone.
God damn it, I wish I was there to see that. Not only am I a HUGE fan of Temple of the Dog's self-titled album, I dearly love Mother Love Bone's Apple.
Thanks to this fantastic footage, you can witness this reunion. Also you can bet your ass that these shows were filmed for DVD releases and cd releases. Just enjoy the videos below and drip with envy at the lucky son of a bitches in the audiences.
