Iggy Pop and The Stooges Postpone US Dates
Iggy Pop and The Stooges have been forced to postpone their entire West Coast tour schedule because Iggy has broken two bones in his foot.
The injury happened on August 27 at the Peninsula Festival in Romania (see video below) and the rocker was told he will need to rest up for six to eight weeks.
Iggy released the following statement: "I hate this, I hate like hell to cancel or postpone anything. I only saw the doctor because it hurt so fucking much and I couldn't fix it myself. Please be patient, I am so excited about these dates on the left coast."
Hey man it happens. It is disappointing when the artist or band cancels their show, but real fans wait it out. It took U2 two years to finally tour the US for their 360 tour and every fan held onto their tickets. I am sure Stooges fans will do the same.
Iggy is quite the showman. Check out this 70s clip I found on YouTube.
