Scott Weiland Releases Cover Album
Among the albums released yesterday, way down the list rested Scott Weiland - A Compilation of Scott Weiland Covers. I had no idea this album was even coming out and there hasn't even been publicist chatter on the matter.
1. I Am The Resurrection (The Stone Roses)
The album is out only in digital form and through Weiland's and Live Nation's website. That is a bit interesting since Live Nation hasn't been known to release albums or be the "go to" website to buy albums. I would never buy albums from that website; I barely enjoy going there to purchase tickets.
The collection of covers is typical Scott and there are covers you would expect to be there - David Bowie, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. There are some great songs by awesome bands - The New York Dolls, The Stone Roses, and Depeche Mode.
