Black Tide Release Post Mortem

Black Tide had tremendous promise when they were a Guns N' Roses meets Iron Maiden with a Latin American twinge back during their initial run. However, they turned into a metalcore/vampirecore hybrid and I hate that shit. I apologize to their publicist because I was supposed to review the album, but it's so far from where they should be at this point in their career, I couldn't listen to the record.

Every song is cliched and like they licked up the remanants of Avenged Sevenfold's recording session. If you don't believe me, take a listen to their stuff here. They are streaming their entire album for fans to preview before they torrent
buy.

If you don't want to leave the cushiony confines of the warm embrace of this website, here is a video for their song That Fire the best song on the entire album. The video is a bit pretensious as the members of the band are like 15...ok probably more like 22, but still married at 22? What are you Mexican? Oh...right.

I wouldn't be much of a messanger if I didn't provide you with buy links. iTunes is the easiest way. You can also catch the band on tour during the Rockstar Uproar festival.
