Red Hot Chili Peppers Coming to a Movie Theater Near You
Red Hot Chili Peppers are going to be gracing the silver screen during the release week of their new album I'm With You. The band will perform the entire album in sequence, followed by some of their greatest hits in a special high-definition cinematic in-theater event. It is the first - and only - time the new album will be performed in its entirety by the band.
Red Hot Chili Peppers LIVE: I'm With You concert will be captured live in high-definition from Cologne, Germany, on Tuesday, August 30, by Splinter Films, and will be presented the same day in more than 450 select U.S. movie theaters in over 130 markets. If you are interested, you can find a theater near you that is showing the concert here.

I don't understand sitting in an air-conditioned theater with stadium seating to watch a concert. I'd much rather be there in person and that is the sole reason you won't catch me at these cash grabs. I really don't like listening to an entire album that I have only heard the single for. So this is a double waste of money for me. I do, however, love the new single The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie.
