Well wrap this up in the "Damn I hope there is video of this" file. Dave Grohl was rehearsing with Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear and Krist decided to go through some oldies. Well let's let Dave tell the story:

Grohl tells Britain's The Observer newspaper, "Krist is on bass, Pat's on guitar, I'm on drums. Krist says, 'You wanna run through some oldies?' Me and Pat look at each other. I mean, that's something I've never considered before. I was like, 'OK.'

"Krist says, 'Fuck it, let's do Smells Like Teen Spirit,' and Pat starts playing and we kick into it. I haven't played that drum beat in 17 years. It was, like… a ghost. It was heavy."

Damn how cool would it have been to see that? Oh well, maybe something you Foo Fighters fans might have in store on tour? Probably not, but you could always go to the show with those expectations and have Dave Grohl smash them for you. That's what I do when I enter the bedroom for sex. I saunter in and think "I am totally going to rock this chick's world and have the best sex of my life." But then I get into the room and realize their is no woman, no KY Jelly and no porn and I am forced to jerk off to the late local news AGAIN. Fuck my life.
