Evanescence Getting Hard On Next Album

This story has been filed from Lying Out Her Ass, Arkansas.

Evanescence is recording their self titled third album in Nashville, which will be in stores (hopefully not) in time for the emo kids to come out of hiding for Halloween. Amy Lee gave this quote in a recent interview:

I can't give a good quote about it, because it's probably the heaviest record we've ever done, but we're having a great time making it. I don't want to say the word 'fun,' but it is ... it's totally fun. We're just going for it. So I don't want to say that it's 'expressing the pain of a thousand sorrows,' because it's not that. I mean, it's just more mature; it's just a great record. It's hard to sum it up.

I feel like a robot could answer these questions. Hell I should just become a fucking publicist to the stars because they say the same shit with each record.

Hey Perry Como, what will your next record be like?

"Well I am really going for it in the studio. It has a great renaissance feel similar to my 1965 record Somebody Loves Me, but with a Dream on Little Dreamer twist. We are just having so much fun in the studio and I am getting out a lot of my pent up emotions like how pissed off I was when I died in 2001. Actually, a lot of the themes on this next record will have to do with my death and how it has affected me."

Well I guess you heard it here first, Perry Como is making a comeback! Take that to Lawrence Welk Orchestra and blow it!

In other Evanescence news, we covered the ongoing saga with Troy McLawhorn here in an episode of As the Suck Bands Turn (link). Well he officially confirmed he is back in the band with Evanescence. Gee Golly Mr. McLawhorn, there is a Santee Claus! I bet original fans of Evanescence are so thrilled to have their guitarist Troy McLawfirm back in the mix.
