If you went to Download over the weekend in England, you probably saw our boys in Voodoo Johnson light up the Jagermeister stage on Sunday. I have heard they kicked ass, but that shouldn't shock you.

I found that Download had a real interesting band called Rock Sugar who take two songs and mash them up live. Since I am really into unlikely mashups recently, I found their Don't Stop the Sandman to be entertaining, hilarious, and almost spot on.

But if that doesn't really do anything for you, maybe the mashup of Warrant's Heaven and Bryan Adams' Heaven would do it for you.



I randomly found Jess Harnell after looking up the voice of Wakko Warner from the Animaniacs after a bar bet. My more knowledgeable friend informed me the voice of Wakko was the voice of Ironhide in the new Transformer movies. After looking Jess Harnell up on IMDB, I found that he had a band that mashed up pop/rock songs. He has a great voice, which can be seen in his vocals on these songs and of course his breadth of voice credits in movies you have seen if you are into cartoons....like I am.
