Want a Slightly Used MTV Europe Award?
If you do, contact Anthony Kiedis. Senor Kiedis is selling his MTV Europe Award to help raise funds for ongoing relief to the devastated Japan.
All proceeds from the sales will benefit the Japanese Red Cross, the charity leading the clean-up effort following the devastating earthquake and tsunami which hit Japan in March.
I just don't understand this type of memorabilia. Unless I won an MTV Europe Award for writing the most kick ass album reviews, than the award is worthless to me. What do you say to people who come over your house,
"That there is my concubine and Oh that is Anthony Kiedis' MTV Award. He won it because of that one song he does about California, you know that one right? Anyway, yea it was a charity auction for Japan and I bought because I like charity, Japan, and owning other people's hard earned awards. Want some juice?"
In case you want to know what an MTV Europe Award looks like, Justin Timberlake is holding one below. I can't image it would fit in a standard TV entertainment center.
