RIP KK Downing of Judas Priest
I wish I could say this is a 4:20 joke, but it is not. KK Downing has retired from Judas Priest. He will not be joining the group on their upcoming Epitaph tour and will be replaced by Richie Faulkner (Lauren Harris and Dirty Deeds).
I got to see Judas Priest a few times and KK can't be replaced. He was part of Judas Priest's heart and soul and replacing him is out of the question...even if this Richie Faulkner guy was KK's son.
We also got to meet Judas Priest a while back and Joe Wettner had KK, Glenn Tipton, and Rob Halford sign the glove box of his Frankensteiner El Camino.
In case you unfamiliar with Lauren Harris, she is the daughter of Steve Harris (bassist of Iron Maiden). Judas Priest knows her well and her band. I am sure Richie can do a great job, but it just won't be the same. Here is Richie in action.
The headline is a bit misleading, guys.
As far as I know, he's still alive.

I disagree with Marty, the headline is not a bit misleading, it is a lot misleading.
I love the site and that is just pandering for clicks in my opinion.
OTOH, KK mine as well be dead if he's not in Judas Priest.
