Jane's Addiction Release Free Download
Their new album doesn't come out until August, but one song has already been released. End to the Lies was leaked to the web and Jane's Addiction decided to offer it as a free download to those who sign up for email alerts on Jane's Addiction.com. But if you are a tech savvy individual, you will use www.10minutemail.com, sign up, and never join Jane's Addiction mailing list.
The new album, The Great Escape Artist, doesn't have a solid release date...only August sometime. This is the same album that should have Duff on bass unless they decided to re-record all his bass parts.
If you want to see a behind the scenes recording of End to the Lies, you can click here since Jane's Addiction doesn't want bloggers and websites to embed the video. They are the Stalin's of the music industry.
To spite them, I found the song on YouTube that will allow me to embed it. Listen while you can before the internet overlords remove it. It has a more aggressive sound to it perhaps because of the bass lines laid down by Duff. Give it a listen if you like Jane's Addiction. If you don't like Jane's Addiction, you might after this song as it really doesn't sound like Jane's Addiction to me.
