Rob Zombie to Direct The Dirt Movie

The Dirt movie is a chronicle of The Dirt, but in movie form. It has been rumored to be a movie since the day the book hit shelves because of the crazy stories of absolute debauchery in the book.

It seems the movie has finally gotten a director, Rob Zombie. I have read The Dirt cover to cover no less than 1,238 times and I don't recall Mike Myers or Dr. Satan in the book.

Nikki Sixx sat down with Billboard.com and discussed the movie:

"That would be a cool place to release some new [MÖTLEY CRÜE] music. It gives new reason for new music. People aren't really buying records these days, so it seems like a good place to maybe put something new from us."

If you really want to watch a good rock n' roll movie with heart, The Perfect Age of Rock N' Roll just received USA distrubution. The movie will be released this summer and stars Peter "Mother Fucking" Fonda, Jason "The Kid" Ritter, "The Infamous" Marty E, and written by Jasin "Starkiller" Cadic. Be on the look out for this movie.
