Buffalo Springfield Headlining Bonnaroo 2011
You read that correct, Buffalo Springfield will reunite and headline Bonnaroo along with M&M. The band consists of Neil Young, Steven Stills, Richie Furay, Rick Rosas and Joe Vitale.
Young, Stills and Furay reunited for The Bridge School Benefit last year (2010) and the rumors started circulating about a potential full scale Buffalo Springfield tour. Since Bruce Palmer died in 2004 and Dewey Martin died in 2009, Buffalo Springfield tapped Neil Young's long time bassist Rick Rosas and Crosby Stills and Nash drummer Joe Vitale to fill in.
Bonnaroo will take place in the usual location (Manchester, TN) on June 9-12. The rest of the lineup looks like this:
