Every year there is another Rockstar Dogs Fucking Cats tour wrapped around an energy drink they are promoting at the time. They are calling this the First Annual Avalanche Tour, however if the Avalanche drink doesn't sell it will be replaced by Snowballin Cum Tour next year.

This year has an interesting lineup with Philadelphia's own Halestorm being one of the highlights of the bill. The rest of the players are Stone Sour, Skillet, Theory of a Deadman, and Art of Dying. The tour dates leave a lot of cities and entire regions out in the cold, Philadelphia and the southeast of the United States. Perhaps more tour dates will be announced.

We told you about Skillet a while ago. If you forgot, go check out our review of their album here and our expose on their formula here. Theory of a Deadman rips off Nickelback, which is probably a worse offense than adhering to a formula. Need proof, sure you do. Go here.

This tour will sell well as it combines a few bands that have sold well, but you should feel ashamed if you like GOOD music for paying to see Stone Sour and Halestorm and having to sit through the corporate tripe of Skillet and Theory of a Deadman. You can go to AvalancheTour.com for more details.
