Zakk Wylde and William Shatner Team Up for Iron Man Cover

William Shatner, notable wig wearer and Captain of the USS Enterprise has teamed up with Zakk Wylde on a cover version of Iron Man by Black Sabbath. The song will appear on the Shat's cover album entitled Seeking Major Tom.

Shatner revealed the news via his Twitter profile, writing, "Just watched tracks being laid down by Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society for my upcoming record 'Seeking Major Tom'." He added, "Zakk is one of the great guitarists who played with Ozzy Osbourne. A master playing a cover of 'Iron Man'. He's fantastic! I'm energized."

Zakk Wylde is selling out like a circumcised Greed $immons. Back in the day, Zakk was the man. He had a cool sound and the imagery used in the early BLS albums was dark, gloomy, and all about viking rape! But then he sold out sometime around 2004 with his album Hangover Music Vol 1 and it continued on Mafia. Now you can hear him collaborating on the shittest music. When you play guitar for the Nickelback found band My Darkest Days on their song Pornstar Dancing, you have sold out.

Zakk also isn't a man of subtle use of anything. He would be a terrible painter as he has the nuance of a 34 year old death row inmate smearing his own shit all over his cell. The use of pinch harmonics is his signature, but it is used ad-nausem in every fucking song he does.

I think Zakk needs to get back to his Sonic Brew or Eternal 1919 form where pinch harmonics were used as emphasis and not as the norm. Also the themes found on those albums, drinking, fighting, raping, and drinking were his best themes. Get back to what you do best Zakk.
