Evanescence Taking "Big Risks" on Next Album
Evanescence is going to be taking "big risks" on their upcoming album. I can only assume those "big risks" are assumptions people care or will buy this album.
NME is now thinking they are Blogs N' Roses because the only interviews we get are people you have never heard of or least important band members in bands who had a hit once in the 80s. NME sat down with Will Hunt, Evanescence's drummer, who gave the following quote:
It's always going to sound like Evanescence, because it's Amy Lee singing. But the vehicle for that voice can be different and still be Evanescence. She is taking some real big risks and honestly, I think it's amazing!
The new album will be the follow-up to Evanescence's The Open Door album in 2006. This album is going to be produced by long time U2 producer Steve Lilywhite, which mildly intrigues me.
While searching for images to use of Amy Lee, I found this picture. Why it was tagged for Amy Lee, I don't know. I also don't know what it has to do with Evanescence, but it interested me. Why would you carry a gun in your thong? That just doesn't seem safe and it goes against all my gun safety training.
