Check In, Rock Out with Hard Rock Hotel
I don't have enough money to shell out to pretend I am a rockstar and stay in Hard Rock Hotels. I don't even have enough money to eat in a Hard Rock Restaurant. I was allowed, once, to walk around the Hard Rock Las Vegas and check out their memorabilia. That was pretty cool. This promotion is kind of stupid. I am going to quote the press release here so don't blame me for the shitty wording:
Hotel guests who yearn to channel their inner rock star and boast about playing at some of the nation's most acclaimed music venues can now do both with a new amenity program from two of rock 'n' rolls biggest brands, Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos and Gibson Guitar. The two brands have collaborated on "Check In, Rock Out," a program that offers hotel guests a top-of-the-line Gibson guitar to take to their room and jam out at no cost. The program, which debuted at Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, will launch at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego on Feb. 3, 2011 with a special appearance and guitar dedication by legendary guitarist and Black Label Society front man Zakk Wylde.
I don't know, I guess because it is at no additional cost some people will take advantage of it. But me...I am not going on vacation to spend time sitting in the room playing guitar. I am going out, buying roofies from a blond dreadlocked college student, slipping them in the hooker's drink and ending the evening cutting their heads off. Hookers don't need to think.
I don't know the following band, but their name alone got my attention. They are called the Headless Hookers and clearly we have something in common...separating those who have a head and have no use for it.
