Whitesnake Title New Album

Whitesnake has titled their follow up to 2008's opus Good to Be Bad. The new album will be called Forevermore, which David Coverdale had this to say about the title:

"Don't forget, 'tis ONE word. Otherwise it sounds like a bleedin' Valentine's Day card, which it ain't!"

This is good news as I thought Good to Be Bad was a damn SOLID record from a band known more for sappy 80's bullshit. But Whitesnake was a great bluesy rock band before Tawny Kitaen was cartwheeling on Jaguar cars. David Coverdale spoke about the album:

The new songs are in the very familiar and recognizable WHITESNAKE territory of soulful, bluesy, melodic power rock, with a couple of ballads thrown in for good measure," the singer said. "It can't be a WHITESNAKE album without ballads, mate!

Here is a good example of early Whitesnake and what they sounded like before they turned corporate.
