If you haven't heard yet, there is a glam band out there that imitates David Bowie and some of the glam era rock. Their name is Semi Precious Weapons and they are tolerable, but so far haven't lived up to the hype in my ears. I hear they put on an amazing live show so I reserve judgment until I see them live.

There has been a big buzz around their new video for their slow ballad Look at Me. It is a Not Safe for Work video, but this is a relative term. The video contains a love scene between two women who just toplessly make out. There is no tribbing, no scissoring, and certainly no penetration.

The point of the video I suppose is to show the love between two people without it driving straight to hardcore porn. However, since I have been raised on midgets being inserted into vaginas, two hot women seductively making out doesn't do it for me anymore.

If you were not into the 70's androgynous scene with Bowie and Bolan, you probably won't get this band. If you are not comfortable with your sexuality, you probably won't like this band. I like them, but they are trying a bit too hard to be their glam forefathers and add nothing new to the formula.
