BlackDiamondSkye Tour Offer One Lucky Fan Something Cool
One lucky fan heading to the BlackDiamondSkye tour featuring Alice in Chains, Mastodon, and Deftones will get a big surprise.
Taped under one seat in the venue will be a signed setlist from each of the bands and a VIP laminate featuring a secret code. The code will enter the laminate into a drawing to win a custom Gibson guitar signed by all the members of the tour valued at more than $2,000, along with a Marshall amplifier half-stack valued at $2,050. A total of only 19 people — one from each gig — will be entered into the contest.
That is pretty cool, but now that you know that, arrive to the venue early and search the seats for the package. I don't know how they are going to stop that from happening.
If you have to show your ticket to prove you were actually sitting there and if someone arriving early steals the package, how will you know you were the lucky winner? If a dumbass like me can figure out the loopholes, I am sure the Alice in Chains camp have thought about it.

A Gibson guitar signed by every member of the tour? That's awesome! That's so much better than cash because that's not something that you can necessarily buy. It's one of a kind and therefore priceless.
