Tears for Fears Baby Shampoo
We reported a few days ago that Whitesnake has created their own brand
of wine. Other 80's bands are now trying to cash in on popular products
in a vain effort to bring their name back to the public's peering eyes.
Johnson & Johnson, healthcare and pharmaceutical magnate, have teamed up with 80's band Tears for Fears for their popular baby shampoo No More Tears. The product, on shelves now, will be called "No More Tears for Fears" in honor of the band.
Curt Smith, founder of Tears for Fears had this pun ladden quote: "In the 80's we wanted to rule the world, but that just didn't happen. So we have decided to team with Johnson & Johnson so babies don't Shout during their baths. Mothers Talk about how important bathing is for children and we have listened. We are Head Over Heels to announce our partnership with Johnson & Johnson.
You can find the shampoo in stores now.

This is really clever. I wonder how this partnership was arranged. I guess I just didn't think that Johnson & Johnson was cool enough to promote a band on their packaging.
