Disturbed Released Asylum Yesterday
Disturbed released their fifth studio album Asylum yesterday to almost little fanfare. They did release two official music videos for the lead single
"Another Way To Die" and another video for album title track
"Asylum."
Every copy of Asylum comes with the 75+ minute "Decade of Disturbed" documentary which features live footage, exclusive interviews, and the story on Disturbed till now. A trailer for the documentary can be seen here.
I thought Disturbed peaked with Believe. I thought that was a better record than The Sickness. It was mature, frenzied, powerful, and explored different themes than just the "oh I am so tormented" that pervaded the first album. After Believe, the band didn't really grow. They relied too heavily on the same sound and basically recycled the same music.
That being said, the two singles off Asylum sound promising. Check out the videos below and if you like them, you can go and buy their album.
