Ticketmaster Change Policies
We have been complaining for years about Ticketmaster and their bastard fees. I have been crying for an all-inclusive price where people know up front what they are going to pay.
As it stands now, if Danzig puts on a concert the ticket might say 25.00. But with Ticketmaster fees, it would actually cost 35.00-45.00 dollars. I wanted a price that included the fees in it. So the Danzig show would say "35.00" or "45.00" and I could then decide if I want to go to the show.
Well it seems Ticketmaster has listened. They will still have the 25.00 price shown, but they will show you up front what the price with fees will be. You can now decide much earlier if you want to bail on the show or not.
Secondly, they have added a three day policy, where you can get a refund three days after purchase, if you for any reason decide the fees are too high or the show doesn't work for you.
While this isn't the best route of action - the best route would be to eliminate or lessen the fees - it is a welcomed change. I can't find my TicketBastard logo, so you will have to make due with the only image I have at my disposal.

I like that it's the only image you have your disposal. That's funny. I fully welcome TicketMaster's change. It's a point for progress, as far as I'm concerned.

The only way to get Ticketmaster to stop charging their rape fees is to either have multiple ticket-sellers compete for a given show (yeah, right), or for fans to stop going to shows (yeah, right).

These fees are outrageous, I could understand the fee when I would buy tickets in a store or over the phone. But with being able to do transactions online the fee should be very small. I don't understand why some of the big venues don't just cut Ticketmaster out of the loop completely and sell tickets on their website or box office.
