Creed Talks About Reunion Tour

Have you seen the movie Soylent Green? In the movie, Charlton Heston is trying to piece together why people are trying to kill him. It leads him to discover one of the biggest spoilers in movie history...the Soylent company is using people as food. ZOMG!!!!

I think that anyone who voluntarily goes to a Creed show should suffer the same fate. They should be ground up and fed to dogs, fish, bears, whatever may need to be fed. This will thin the population down so we are not living in subterranean dwellings (as predicted by Valient Himself (link)) and reduce the world's Creed fans.

Creed doesn't remember that last year on their comeback tour, promoters and venues had to give out tickets for less than a buck. If your concert is priced less than a Big Mac in America, you have got a problem. (link)

Creed thinks the problem wasn't that there is no longer a market for their music, but that people didn't like their album Full Circle because it wasn't like the OLD Creed....oh and the economy is a bitch.

Tremonti had this to say about their new album:

"It brings it back to the old vibe we used to send out in our songs ... just that kind of a feel-good, big rock song, that anthemic, 'My Sacrifice' and 'Higher' kind of vibe."

No one wants to hear that Tremonti, no one. Get back with Alter Bridge and put out some good music that I know you are capable of. Stop with this Creed bullshit. I would call it a money grab, but Live Nation sent me a ticket promotion that I can buy Creed tickets for $5.00. It isn't about the money because you can't be making any off this.

But what does the ever optimist, Scott Stapp, learned from the lack of ticket sales:

"showed us that there's a lot of people who want to come that just can't afford it. We thought we had a ticket price that was affordable, but there were a lot of factors there. So this is about that relationship and staying in touch with our roots and blue collar America, which is where we're all from. It's natural as a band to be connected to the economic situation of our country and wanting to continue that connection with the fans."

I want some of what Scott is smoking because holy shit would I be FUCKED UP! The tickets are being sold for 5.00 and still people are not buying them. It has nothing, nada, ziltch to do with the economy. Artists like Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, and Rush are selling out the same places you are attempting to with HIGHER (HA!) ticket prices.

So in conclusion, Creed has some great mind altering drugs and I want to party with them. And I still killed a man because he was a Creed fan.
