Lynam Invades Philadelphia Get Tickets Now
You saw them opening for Cinderella and now you can see them longer and uncut. Lynam is making their triumphant return to Philadelphia and playing the great Blockley Pourhouse. (See our review of The Tressels and Sex Slaves also at the Blockley)
The show takes place on July 10 at 9pm, but this is a special show. Not only is it a great lineup, but it is all ages if those under 21 are accompanied by someone over 25. I will make sure the entire Blogs N' Roses staff is there to provide alcohol and chaperone opportunities for anyone under 21.
The bill is great and starts with Legend of the Fall. This up and coming band has been making waves across the internet. If you have felt them, you know what I am talking about. Explosive live show, catchy songs, what is there not to like? Legend of the Fall is touring in support of their new EP “SELL OUTS” which will be released in August on Island Def Jam Digital as an iTunes exclusive. The five brothers (age 14 – 22) have been playing together for two years and recently signed a management contract with New Ocean Media. Legend of the Fall have been developing a following throughout the tri-state area. Check out more at www.legendofthefall.com
The show continues with Ecotone and East of Anything. East of Anything is a Philadelphia band that has garnered all kinds of local press from WMMR to WYSP. Hell, they just opened for Anvil this year thanks to a contest from WYSP. Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/eastofanything
And Lynam needs no introduction, but if you need a bit more convincing read our review of their album Tragic City Symphony here. If that doesn't make you want to see the band, well nothing I tell you will.
Tickets can be bought from The Blockley and are $12.00 in advance. You should buy in advance so you can keep the $3.00 for beer. But if you have to buy at the door, tickets are still reasonable at $15.00. See you there!!
