Slipknot held a worldwide press conference to discuss the passing of Paul Gray, their long time bassist. The whole press conference was streamed through UStream, which is a shoddy streaming site. There were a lot of gaps, buffering, etc when I tried to watch. Thankfully, it was uploaded to YouTube.

I couldn't determine why the band would call a press conference so soon after finding out they lost their bassist. I still can't answer why, but the press conference does show that these guys loved him and he will be missed.

The autopsy has revealed no apparent cause of death. Toxicology reports should be in within days and the cause of death is still under investigation. However, a hypodermic needle and pills were found at the scene.
