Stone Temple Pilots have given Spin.com permission to stream another song off their upcoming self-titled album. The song Take a Load Off finally sounds like a Stone Temple Pilots song. It has a Seven Caged Tigers from Tiny Songs meets the raw sound of No. 4. This is the first song from the album I have heard that doesn't sound like a Velvet Revolver b-side or just a lazy retread.

It is also the only song I have heard that I would actually purchase. Check it out on Spin.com. Stone Temple Pilots new album will be in stores on May 25.
