Last year Def Leppard cancelled about 20 some odd shows citing personal reasons. We reported the issue here. After the cancelled shows, there was a strong rumor that the band was going to break up. It might be hard to do this through the internet, but I am going to try. By a show of hands, who thought Def Leppard would quit their gravy train?

I am scanning the crowd and I see one left arm raised. Well, I know it's not Rick Allen with his arm raised. As reported in the first article we reported, the band was pulling down almost 700k a show. Who would want to stop that? Joe Elliot explained the real reason for the cancelled dates:

"There wasn't any mystery to it really. My wife was pregnant and needed a bit of attention from me, which she wasn't getting," he said.
