Bono, lead singer of U2 and renowned humanitarian, has decided that it is just too much work trying to save Africa.

"I just keep pouring money into that country and they continue to think that raping babies cures AIDS. I just can't continue to invest money in something that I know is a failure. I am moving my money to the company Palm."

Bono has crusaded for those who can't. He has lobbied for many countries to excuse the debts they are owed by African countries. Bono claims this will help Africa begin to invest in themselves if they didn't have to pay interest on loans they borrowed.

Little did Bono know, that philosophy was taken up by the American government to forgive those smart investors who bought houses they couldn't really afford.

Bono, whose real name is Paul Hewson, also has been an outspoken advocate for AIDS education in Africa. But according to his statement, he is done trying to educate the African people.
