Bono Named Worst Investor
Bono has been named one of the worst investors in America. Bono and his private-equity
business Elevation Partners invested 500 million in smart telephone
makers Palm, INC.
The downturn in the economy caused stock shares in Palm Inc. to plummet 35 per cent from January (10) to February (10). OUCH!
24/7 Wall Street bestowed the dubious honor on Bono adding that California-based Elevation Partners is "arguably the worst run institutional fund of any size in the United States".
Anyone could have guessed this, the man can't count to four in Spanish.
