Ok people it's time for me to unleash upon our readers what is on my mind. Well today I would like to talk about my extreme hatred for the band Green Day.  I'm pretty sure they piss me off more than any other band on the being played on the radio, even more than Nickelback.

My main reason for feeling this strongly about Green Day is because they are sell outs. They went from being a respectable punk band in the 90's to being a run of the mill "pop" band. They should never again be classified as a punk band. Calling them a rock band might be pushing it.

I will be the first to admit it Dookie was a great album. I starting feeling this way right around the peak of the American Idiot era. It got to the point that if I heard Wake Me Up When September Ends one more time I was going to the closest daycare facility and start punching babies. They lost what it means to be a real punk band. We don't need 10 min long songs that have a hidden meanings. We want 2 to 3 min long songs with fast guitar riffs and fast pace drumming. I'm waiting for the day that Green Day is nothing but a memory, but with the youth of this country buying their shitty music I think I'm going to be waiting for a long time.
