George Lynch and Dokken to Record and Tour Together
Well we tried to warn you a Dokken reunion was sure to happen. When we
interviewed George Lynch, he seemed open to the idea of a tour as long
as a new Dokken record could come from it.
BNR: So if it [Dokken reunion] happens, it happens and if not that's cool also?
Funny how host Jim Alvino on the "Turn It Up" show on the WSCA 106.1 FM radio station was able to coax the following information from Lynch:
Turn It Up: The shows that you did at the end of last year, with LYNCH MOB opening for DOKKEN, and at the end the classic lineup of DOKKEN playing together again, has that now blown up into that lineup working together again?
George Lynch: "Yes, actually it has. And that's something that isn't gonna happen for a little while. We all have our respective commitments, meaning Jeff, Mick, Don and myself are all real busy this year doing other things. But we've all made a commitment to each other to dedicate ourselves to getting back together. We've already got three songs on the table and we're gonna continue to write throughout the year and put the whole business together and probably go in the studio late fall or early winter of this year and then have a record out toward late spring of next year, and then hit the road."

Check out the full interview with Jim because it is a good listen. George is pretty candid, as he was with us. George doesn't seem to have the ego problem that say....Don Dokken has. Glad these two are working it out and I am going to enjoy seeing the real Dokken on stage next year.
BNR: So if it [Dokken reunion] happens, it happens and if not that's cool also?
GL: Oh yeah, I'm down. If they gave me my 25%, we go and do a real record; no games, no bullshit, no lies, everything's up and up and transparent and go out and create some closure for the fans and ourselves, I think that would be a wonderful thing for everybody.
