Aerosmith are booking a plethora of festival dates in Europe. First the Download Festival and now dates in Barcelona and Italy.

Aerosmith, along with Pearl Jam and Green Day, will headline the Heineken Jammin' Festival. Here is the lineup:

July 3:

AEROSMITH
THE CRANBERRIES

July 4:

GREEN DAY
30 SECONDS TO MARS
RISE AGAINST

July 5:

BLACK EYED PEAS
MASSIVE ATTACK

July 6:

PEARL JAM
BEN HARPER
SKUNK ANANSIE
GOSSIP
WOLFMOTHER

Before that festival, Aerosmith will perform at Palau Sant Jordi in Bareclona, Spain on June 27. So I guess these rumors that Steven Tyler left the band was all bullshit. Though I can't remember a summer where Aerosmith didn't play the United States. It has been like 10 summers or something. Perhaps this was their way of playing European festivals.

Step 1: Have lead singer leave band citing differences
Step 2: Singer goes to rehab, but still not in band.
Step 3: Band issues statement they wish to continue on without singer...seek replacement.
Step 4: Roll in the money as a bunch of festivals book the band with original lead singer.
Step 5: Profit. *
