The Vatican Releases Its Top Album

On the heels of our article about Doyle and Danzig joining the Catholic Church (article), comes "What is on the Pope Nazi's iPod?"

The Vatican has released its Top Ten Rock Albums and they are kind of surprising.

1. Revolver - The Beatles
2. If I Could Only Remember My Name - David Crosby
3. The Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
4. Rumours - Fleetwood Mac
5. The Nightfly - Donald Fagan
6. Thriller - Michael Jackson
7. Graceland - Paul Simon
8. Achtung Baby - U2
9. (What's the Story) Morning Glory - Oasis
10. Supernatural - Carlos Santana

What is noteworthy of this list of good albums, they are mostly about sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. I don't think there is a song on Supernatural that ISN'T about sex. The Dark Side of the Moon is a drug users dream album.

What is also clear about this list, The Pope hates the Rolling Stones. Since the 60's there have been two camps: The Beatles or The Rolling Stones. Sure you can like both, but search your heart...you prefer one more than the other. I am a Stones man. I love The Beatles, but for me I love the Rolling Stones more.

I think next time I see the Pope, I will give him one of my favorite Stones albums Their Satanic Majesties Request and see how he likes it.
