Bye Sharona - The Knack Singer Dies
Doug Fieger, lead singer of The Knack, has died of Lung cancer at age 58. Fieger wrote The Knack's only hit My Sharona. Muse of the song Sharona Alperin had this to say about Fieger:
"Doug changed my life forever. He left on Valentine's Day, a day of heart and love, and that was Doug, all heart and love."
After Dale Earnhardt died, a lot of rednecks justified the loss by saying "I guess God needed a driver." Using that logic, "I guess God wanted to hear My Sharona live." RIP Doug Fieger.
