Rock on the Range has become the coolest destination festival for actual rockers. Coachella is a bunch of bullshit bands. Lollapalooza is a hipster haven. Bonnaroo is a hippie/hipster collective. So where do real fans of rock go? I guess Columbus, Ohio.

This year's Rock on the Range festival takes place on May 22 and 23 in Columbus, Ohio. Here are the bands playing. There are a lot of shit bands (Limp Bizkit, Nonpoint, Mushroomhead), but there are a lot of good one (Rob Zombie, Mastodon, Year Long Disaster, Five Finger Death Punch). So if you could get a ticket for free or for cheap, I'd recommend going.
